It is simple for children to apply on their own, making it ideal for holiday's, day trips, nursery or school. And because it's compact and lightweight, kids can easily carry it around in their a little day packs and school bags.
Included: This is a pack of 2 replacement heads which will fit on your existing Solar Buddie.
Important information:
If you are purchasing your sponge for your Solar Buddie don't forget to keep the cap on your original as the heads come with not caps.
The lifespan of the heads depends on how it is used and cared for. We recommend the Solar Buddies are cleaned after the vessel becomes empty.
The heads need to be washed on a more regular basis to stop the head becoming clogged with sunscreen. Do not leave the Solar Buddie in direct sunlight or temperatures that exceed 30C. If in extreme heat keep your Solar Buddies in a shaded place.
Do not use sunscreens high in alcohol as this can affect the adhesive. If all directions are followed the Solar Buddies can last in excess of 6-8 weeks. We have always managed to get at least 4-5 months out of each sponge caring for the Solar Buddie as directed.

I have been using solar buddies for a few years now, my son prefers to use them over normal sunscreen applicators. I also got my sister onto them such a great product, will be continuing to use them for my second when he comes along!! It's great you can buy replacement heads instead of needing to buying a whole new one.
Grateful for the option to refill the foam, rather than bin the whole applicator. Easy to replace, goes like a brand new one again!
So I had to get some replacements as mine had gone a bit funky coz I washed the sponges after they had fallen in dirt last summer. I love the applicators as it makes sunscreen fun the kids can do it and it’s mess free!!!
With a twist the replacement heads are on and its good to go. The sunblock glides on effortlessly, easy for anyone to use. the kids love applying it on themselves and it doesn't get everywhere.

We've had our solar buddy for a couple of years now and love being able to replace the heads whenever they wear out. This thing has come in handy more times than I can count, especially for those last minute kindy drop offs and for popping in the big kid's school bag so he can easily reapply through the day (even with a broken arm)!
