To get the best suction out of your bowl, press firmly in the center of the bowl using either your finger or a spoon. To release simply lift the tab.

We got this to start getting out Baby used to using a spoon and fork so when she starts eating she will be used to the direction, hold and mouth feel. We chose the grey so she could easily see the colour of her food to add to her sensory experience. Everything is great quality and we look forward to using it :) (the spoon and fork are already winners and help with teething too!).
Bowl is comfortable, soft but sturdy. My 9 month old loves the spoon as both a deliverer of food and a Teether.
The little spoon and fork are great which is why I haven't given 1 star but the suction bowl was a big let down as there is no suction whatsoever...
