Pounamu notched Koru, handcrafted jade pendant

An intricately handcrafted pounamu (greenstone) notched koru or spiral pendant carved by Tamaki Carvers.

 It includes an adjustable plaited waxed braid cord, a traditional-style woven presentation pouch and a description of the meaning of the carving.

This series comes in a range of polished greenstone - each piece is unique due to variations in the stone.

The spiral form is a Koru, which is based on the fern frond as it opens, bringing new life and purity to the world. It also represents peace, tranquility, spirituality, family as well as regrowth or new beginnings/journeys.
