1. Wash and thoroughly dry your hands.
2. Insert a compatible G-425-1 test strip into the meter.
3. Prepare the lancing device with a new sterile lancet.
4. Obtain a small blood sample according to the supplied instructions.
5. Apply the required blood sample to the test strip.
6. Wait approximately 5 seconds for the result.
7. Record or review the result as required.
8. Dispose of the used lancet and test strip safely.
