Your Guide to the Fourth Trimester: Webinar Replay Now Available

Presented by Nine Antenatal | 27 May

Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting our next Buy Kiwi Mums & Bubs Club Webinar. Led by expert midwives from Nine Antenatal, Kayleigh and Rebecca, it was an insightful and reassuring session focused on one of the most important — and often overlooked — stages of motherhood: life after baby arrives.

If you couldn’t join us live, or you’d like to revisit the information, the full webinar recording is now available to watch anytime. Find the link to download below.

What is the Fourth Trimester?

The “fourth trimester” refers to the first 12 weeks after your baby is born. While so much focus is placed on pregnancy and birth, this postpartum period is just as crucial. Both for your baby’s development and your own recovery and wellbeing.

It’s a time of major adjustment, physically, emotionally and mentally, as you and your baby learn to navigate this new world together.

Why is the Fourth Trimester Important?

This stage lays the foundation for your baby’s sense of security and attachment, while also being a critical period for a mother’s healing and mental health.

Understanding what’s normal — and what support you might need — can make a huge difference in how confident and supported you feel during those early weeks.

What We Covered in the Webinar

During the session, our midwives shared practical guidance and expert insights on:

  • Caring for your newborn
  • Navigating the emotional shifts of new parenthood
  • A mother’s changing brain structure & newborn behaviour
  • Healing & mental wellbeing

The session was designed to give you reassurance, knowledge and real-life advice you can actually use — whether you’re preparing for baby or already in the newborn stage.

We hope this webinar gives you the confidence and reassurance to navigate this special stage — and reminds you that you’re not alone on this journey.

A huge thank you again to Kayleigh and Rebecca from Nine Antenatal for sharing their expertise, and to everyone who joined us for our Buy Kiwi Mums & Bubs Club webinar.
